I said, “Well, who do you think is the best?”
“I think everyone is the best. Every one is the same.”
I’m so in love with my little Sage.
"Your capacity to love increases steadily as your willingness to love increases. The willingness to love, in turn, will grow proportionately as you no longer feel terrified of not being loved in return, or not in exactly the way or at the speed you would want it. Recognize your fright of every little hurt and disappointment. As you focus your inner view on that direction, you will surely come to see your terror as a total illusion, as your overgrown imagination." - Creating Union by Eva Pierrakos & Judith Saly

Hi dear, they are all so grown up.. my boy at 4 was called sage. I had to check the dictionary for the meaning dumb me! lol Think it had something to do with being an only child and having to grow up real fast? luv

Here's hoping he holds on to that philosophy and that life doesn't crush it out of him.

Oh Stacey! What a wise old soul. No wonder you're so in love - and proud!
He's a smarty pants alright. It took me a long time to figure out that these blowhards are just insecure and feel the opposite of what they project, they are lost little lambs in so many ways.
Yes, children are more idealistic than adults but unfortunately not everyone is the best and we are not the same. We know that, that is why we have CEOs, doctors, nurses and engineers, brilliant and successful people, then we have the mass who can be brainwashed by demagogues and terrorists and we have homeless people and beggars, thieves and criminals. Right now there are children in third world countries that are scavenging through mountains of garbage. It is not a happy scene but that is a fact of life. We are not all best, we have to do our best - we can't even guarantee equal opportunity much less equal results. Someone always works harder and does his or her best but not everyone does.
Okay, who fed him that perfect line? Just kidding, that's so awesome. I love when kids have so much genius (sadly, only to lose it when they grow up).
What a cutie! My little Jacob refuses to pick favorites. I love that about him!
