high priestess...

I am the Captain of my ship and I am a great navigator with the stars and my intuition to guide me.

Love can be a powerful force but as long as I keep steady, stay centered, shine my light and keep my hands on the wheel I can weather any storm.

No longer falling and gripping, hoping a captain will come and save me.  This is harmony.

i am glad you found your harmony!
You can be happy with others' company. But, you can't be happy if you require others' company. Reassert your dominion!

dear high priestess and captain-ess,

look at all the solid advice you give and get. you have every reason to be proud of yourself, stacey. and if fate has it that it is you and goom for the time ahead, i'd say that's a pretty good deal.

love love

My mother used to quote that to us all the time: "I am the captain of my ship, the master of my destiny."

No wonder I grew up to be such a control freak.

Oh, wait -- she said my ship, not your ship....

Strong words of wisdom, indeed!
This is a very important point to remember when working with a writing teacher on your memoir. I did that too, years ago. She told me to give up writing...
