disturbing and yet kind of humorous(?)...

Rarely do I share something that I find slightly disturbing but this is so odd and kind of humorous I feel compelled to share.

The other night while Goom was floating on his back in the bath he put his hands in prayer position. He looked angelic and peaceful. I ran to get the camera and quickly snapped a few shots, focused solely on him.

It was only when I took a second look at the picture that I realized it was telling a different story than the one I had intended.

Ooops, next time I'll pay closer attention to the toys floating around in the bath.

Yeah, unfortunate. Would have been a great photo otherwise, eh?

I think serendipitous shots (intended) like this are cool.

Incredibly interesting...
This picture brings out such mixed feelings in me. It is also shows what we focus on initially when we see an image. To be honest with you, I noticed the disturbance you mention only after reading the first comment.;) I guess I too saw only the angel.;)

Stacey... too funny :)

not only the gun, but also Goom looks a little in pain during prayer.

this is a wonderful photo and I'm glad you've shared as from a creative perspective it's brilliant.

it's also open to all sorts of interpretation and I love that.

You're a gem in my minds eye :)

best wishes and love

I didn't notice the gun either until someone pointed it out. I'll take that as evidence that I focus on the positive first. :)

I saw the gun, only becos my son likes doing pose and it is disturbing, even if it is for fun. I don't think its funny. I was kinda worried what is in his mind maybe subconciously. kids!!!

Bless you dear.

I'm with Otin. It could be an album cover. With some effects on it, it would become iconic.

PS He is beautiful.
