on my way to work...

traffic slowed and this was why...

A film shoot that took up three city blocks.

Know this routine well. We used to live in an area in Woodland Hills by Warner Center that was used for a couple of TV shows on a regular basis. The locals knew which roads to avoid.

Woah! How very cool. Nothing like that happens on anyone's way to work here.

stacey, in times square in new york city there is often some kind of fashion shoot or film scene or famous person out for a walk after breakfast.

i imagine that is what your area is like for you. fun, fun, most of the time, right?

a friend of mine lives in topanga and i can just feel the la hollywood vibe even at the run down local lunch place.

The industry of entertainment rolls on. I hope it is a good story on the screen someday. I'd hate to think you were bogged in the rain for a forgettable movie.
Wow! It's always good to see film-making in progress. Fantastic creative energy! Sending bright wishes to you and yours, Stacey. xx

I'm originally from Savannah GA where film shoots go on year round, so nothing of this would be new to moi, but it can be distracting and inconvenient.

Can't say that I see many of these in my little neck of the woods.
